You sell a gin and tonic.
The gin on the shelf goes down.

Recipe-based stock: every item you sell uses up its ingredients, the supplier order builds itself below the stock level, you book goods receipts with one tap on delivery, and you run the stock count by storage location.

Everything is above its stock level. When something drops below, the order builds up here, rounded to bottles and cartons.

Recipes

Usage based on recipes

You attach a recipe to the product, and every sale deducts exactly what went into it. The chosen option uses its own ingredient, takeaway uses up the cup and the lid too, and the house syrup breaks down further by its own recipe, all the way to the raw ingredients. If you make the syrup ahead, it becomes “Made ahead”: it has its own stock, a Production run deducts its ingredients, and only product that is already made can be sold.

Units and purchasing

You order by the bottle. It counts in liters. It pours in centiliters.

Stock lives in a base unit (liters, kilos, pieces), yet everywhere you see it in the unit you think in. For each product you set the purchase unit (bottle, crate, carton), and the stock level, the notification email and the order all use it, with the rounding you choose.

Behind the scenes every quantity runs in the base unit, so nothing slips when converting.

Serving
Every serving sold deducts its share by its recipe. One bottle makes seventeen and a half gin and tonics.

1
Notification email
When something drops below its stock level, we email you, in your unit.
2
A draft per supplier
Missing items go onto their supplier's draft order, with the purchase price.
3
Open it
You review it and open it. If you like, we email it to the supplier.
4
Goods receipt
On delivery you book it in with one tap. The expiry date is prefilled from the shelf life.
Stock count

Paper versus shelf.

You go through it location by location: in the storeroom you count pieces, at the bar you weigh the open bottle. While counting you do not see how much should be there, so you do not adjust to it. The review shows where things slipped, and when you close the count the stock is set to the counted amount.

Tap a row: count it or weigh it, and correct it with the − / + buttons.
Count templates
“Weekly bar”, “Monthly storeroom”: save what you count regularly and start it with one tap.
Quick count at day close
After closing, the POS offers a 1–2 minute count of what sold that day, or of a rotating sample.
Several people at once
Everyone counts on their own device, and the rows merge live. Two counts cannot count the same thing.
One location is enough
Only counting the bar? For the skipped locations we use the book amount.
Traceability

Every gram leaves a trace.

Every stock change is recorded as a movement: what brought it in, what took it out, what it was worth. You can look back at what was on the shelf on any day. Before something expires we warn you by email and on the dashboard, and you write off the expired lot as waste, with a reason.

Transfers between stores
You send it out from one store and it shows up in the other. Both sides keep a record.
Valuation per lot
Every received lot is used at its own purchase price, starting with the oldest.
Waste with a reason
Expired, spoiled, damaged, tasting: every loss goes into the movements with a reason, at the till too.
Pre-orders reserve stock
A pre-order reserves the stock 12 hours before its time, and the till and the platforms see what is free.
Negative stock
You can set whether the stock level is allowed to go below zero.
Stock snapshot with export
The stock snapshot of any day can be filtered and exported to a spreadsheet in one click.
